MCPS has long been a vital partner to Montgomery County's nonprofit community, and the school system has seen significant transitions over the past year. Appointed as Superintendent in June 2024, Dr. Taylor is now leading the charge in shaping MCPS's future. He has been tasked by the Board of Education with developing the next strategic plan for the school system. As part of this process, Dr. Taylor is actively engaging with community members, organizations, and leaders to gather input.

We invite you to join us for an in-person town hall with Dr. Thomas Taylor at the BlackRock Center for the Arts. This is a unique opportunity to learn about his vision and priorities for MCPS, and the upcoming strategic plan, and to share your insights on how the nonprofit sector can help support students and families in Montgomery County.
